Supporting the Armed Forces: Employer Recognition Scheme

At Consortio Security, we are proud to be recognised as a Gold Member of the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). This prestigious award highlights our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community – including veterans, serving personnel, reservists, cadets, and their families. We believe that businesses who support the Armed Forces gain dedicated, skilled, and resilient team members while strengthening society as a whole.

Why it matters

By signing up, employers make a clear public commitment to support those who serve or have served.

This includes:

  • Creating opportunities for veterans and reservists
  • Supporting military families and cadets
  • Recognising the value of the skills, leadership and discipline developed through service

Our commitment

As a Gold Award holder, Consortio Security is proud to:

  • Provide work experience opportunities for cadets, veterans and military families
  • Support initiatives such as the Cadet Hardship Fund
  • Actively promote the ERS scheme to encourage more employers to join

Both our CEO, Earl Knight, and COO, Nathan Potter, are veterans themselves, and are passionate advocates of the benefits the scheme brings to both business and the Armed Forces community.

Accreditations

Consortio Security Limited currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding and Key Holding.

Our team understands the value and benefit of being an SIA–ACS approved company.

The objective of the SIA’s Approved Contractor scheme was introduced to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities.

Though the scheme is voluntary, we believe being a member shows desire and commitment to continuous development and improvement of our service offerings to our Clients.
